I’ve been tossing the idea around to start this blog as a place to separate my personal & professional lives. There are lots of things in which I’m interested that are inappropriate for my professional blog, and this gives me the place to discuss them.
I am a computer geek for a public library in Southcentral KY, and do a lot of computer work on the side. Moonlighting, as it is known, is not discouraged at my job, and I run into a lot of what I call ‘mop-up’ work after a scheduled visit by a vendor’s support technician. Although I will from time to time go on about that, it won’t be the focus of this blog.
This blog is intended to be an invasion into my personal life, away from computers & electrons. Writing has become a sort of therapy for me, much the same as working in my vegetable garden or other outdoor work. So I will just be blathering on about my life.
I may interest you, I may not. I don’t care. It’s an outlet for ME, and hopefully my 40 years of experience will demonstrate something about which you want to learn. I’m always open for suggestions, comments & questions, so I’m looking forward to some good discussions as well.
